This property belongs to a client of ours in Helston Cornwall.
They have had serious damp problems due to the walls and pointing consisting of cement. Which means that the moisture cannot escape.
So the owner has retained us as Local Builders in Cornwall to remove the cement pointing and replace it with lime, because lime allows the building to ‘breathe’.
Allowing the building to ‘breathe’, reduces the risk of trapped moisture and the consequent damage to the building fabric.
