After the initial rip out phase there was a substantial amount of structural issues. This is common in traditional builds. Our first jobs were to reinstate a new floor and new Douglas Fir lintels.

In order to give a traditional look to the new timbers we routed the edges of each joist. Then we fitted the reclaimed floorboards.
